Dear colleagues, please allow me introduce and welcome Ms. Shamila Kugonza to the mighty Faculty of Computing and Informatics. She is replacing Ms. Catherine Nakiyingi who was transferred back to the Faculty of Graduate Studies and Research. Until recently, Shamila was a Senior Administrator in the Dean of Students Office. Let excellence be part of us. Aristotle once said “Excellence is not an act, but a habit”. Let this words of wisdom drive us to move MUBS forward.

As to Cathy, you have been a person of action whenever you were given a task, with no room for disappointment. Pablo Picasso once said ” Action is the foundation key to all success”. You have challenged us to be action-oriented leaders. No wonder your absence was felt at the FGSR. On behalf of the Faculty, I wish you the very best, please go and shine once again.
