Manager e-learning – MUBS• MUBS was struggling with learning spaces, failure to track and monitor teaching and learning. Moreover, the school lacked alternative teaching modes that would enable lecturers teach common course units at all study center at the same time.
• I undertook the task of developing an e-learning management system to create virtual learning spaces and enable real time online teaching and learning.
• I initiated and designed the e-learning management system based on Moodle, integrated virtual classroom tools that included Webex, big blue button and zoom which enabled one lecturer to teach across center. I also built human capacity by training staff and students, and a technical workforce for supporting end users. For sustainability, academic staff were recommended, trained and equipped with knowledge and skills for creating and managing open learning materials.
• Nearly 50% of the learning course were transformed into online, created digital content for the online courses, supported 90% of staff and students with training in using learning management systems to teach and learn.
