The Faculty of Computing and Informatics today hosted visitors from the University of Germany in the field of applied computing skills. The visitors discussed different applications of information technology, where the faculty dean, Assoc. Prof. Sonny Nyeko Juma, and the heads of department, Dr. John Paul Kasse, Dr. Samali Mlay, and Dr. Edward Kabaale were in attendance. The team later visited the students’ demo Lab, where they showcased different projects they were working on. The training of students was carried out by the TME team that carried out the embedded systems’ skill development. The visitors were highly grateful for the different skills that the faculty is imparting to the students. Dr. John Paul Kasse, the Digitalization Chairperson, showed the visitors the different ICT associations that have enabled students to build their skill sets ready for the changing world.
