Christine is a committed Lecturer and accomplished researcher in business with over 14 years of experience at Uganda’s leading business learning institution. She has gained excellent hands-on administrative, communication, writing, presentation and interpersonal skills honed from working with a large network of individuals from diverse cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. She is recognized for her constructive and effective teaching and research methods that promote and stimulate learning and has contributed to the development of new programs.
Her core teaching and research topics are in the area of business computing, ICT project design and implementation, databases and information systems management, and data mining, analysis, presentation and data utilization. As a result of the ongoing interaction with key private sector players in her work, she is now recognised as an upcoming business strategist with a growing knowledge base in a variety of areas including technology and information management, coaching/mentoring and capacity building, performance management, social marketing, customer relations management and support operations management.CERTIFICATES/AWARDS

Presented a research paper, Topic: “Reframing the mismatch between college education and labour market skills” in the CAPA international conference (2013) held in Arusha, Tanzania. This paper was in line with the conference theme; “Aligning skills to meet the labor market needs in Africa-Role of TVET”. Through this paper, I managed to enlighten the various stakeholders on remedies that can be applied in order to equip graduates with practical skills needed to meet the labor market needs hence adding onto the existing knowledge in this area.
1) ICT Trainer at Luzira Upper Prison, Makerere University Business School (August, 2012- May’2014)
Major Duties/Responsibilities
• To equip inmates with practical IT skills (basic to advanced skills at the certificate and diploma level) along with other business skills acquired which will enable them get employment upon their release.
• To develop course content, outlines and other learning materials ensuring that they meet the set learning objectives and outcomes of the course unit and program as a whole.
• Set, invigilate and mark students’ course works and exams to assess their performance and there after provide constructive feedback to the students.Achievements/accomplishment
• Trained over 193 inmates thus enabling them acquire the relevant IT practical skills that they can apply in the world of work upon their release.
• Managed to give hope for a second chance to the inmates trained as they look forward to applying the various skills acquired into different businesses and professional work hence contributing positively to society and the country as a whole.2) Visited Orphaned babies at Sanyu Babies home (NOV’16), Nsambya babies home (June, 2019)
Objectives for the visit
• To provide emotional support to the under privileged children as they are part of the future leaders of this generation.
• To provide handouts inform of clothes, toys, washing soap and detergent to orphanage babies thus contributing to their wellbeing.
• To understand and appreciate the role played by good Samaritans and other administrative staff in providing for these babies.Achievements/accomplishment
• Through playing, singing and talking I managed to interact with over 40 babies between 6 months to 3 years hence putting a smile on their faces and giving them hope for a bright future.
• Provided basic clothing such as bed sheets-shirts, Rompers as well as 5 toys for entertainment and mental growth not forgetting washing soap and detergent used frequently to enhance hygiene of the babies.
